About Ian Fays, The:

The Ian Fays are a five-piece indie-rock band from Arcata, CA (now Post Falls, ID). The group is fronted by twin sister singer-song writers and has a various back-up band, featuring their older sister on xylophone, triangle, ect, a keyboardist, drummer, and occasional trumpet or kazoo player. The Fays independently released two EPs, “The Ryan Blackmore Project” and “Benny, the Apple Cider Drunk.” The band recently signed with Homesleep Music—an Italian based label, and their debut full-length LP entitled “The Damon Lessons” was released in Europe in April. The Fays recently returned to California after a five week Italian tour and headed out on a West Coast tour soon after. The group was recently featured in a documentary film entitled “Rural Rock and Roll” which examined Humboldt County’s flourishing underground music scene. They are still searching for a domestic record deal.
