Rabbit and Poe is a "group" with a single member: Alex Miller. Miller's musical history is extremely muddled style wise (hip-hop, folk), and primarily he has stuck to sample-based hip hop beats. Rabbit and Poe is an outlet for his more experimental and odd tracks (though one can guess at his hip-hop influences; few of the songs from his newest album do not contain a drum beat).

Rabbit and Poe's self titled debut album is a concept album, exploring various emotional events in Miller's life. According to Miller, "Every song represents a day in my life".
